The FoldingKickers™ invade Marcelo Fernan Bridge an extradosed cable stayed bridge that connects Mandaue City, Cebu and the island of Lapu - lapu City Cebu. It is opened last August 1999 to help the traffic flow from the old bridge. It has the total length of 1237 meters and a center span of 185 meters. The bridge is amongst Philippines longest and widest bridge spans. Named after the senator from Cebu City Senator Marcelo Fernan. This bridge was constructed with the help of the Japanese Government. All through out this year this bridge became a hot part of most Lapu-lapu City runs. Below you can find lots of recreation areas, a basketball court whose ceiling is the wide passage way of the bridge, ktv bars and dating places :P.
